André Dubonnet manufactured the vehicle in his company Automobiles André Dubonnet. He bought a chassis of the type Hispano-Suiza H 6, more precisely of the type H 6 B, which is dated 1932. He made fundamental changes to the chassis and fitted his own independent suspension.  The petrol engine comes from Hispano-Suiza H 6 C. It is a six-cylinder in-line engine. Each cylinder has 110 mm bore and 140 mm stroke. This results in a displacement of 7983 cm³. The power output is stated as 160 hp (118 kW). The engine is mounted in the front of the chassis. It drives the rear axle via a shaft with a hardy disc. The body was designed by the designer and aerodynamics specialist Jean Édouard Andreau. The French coachbuilding company Saoutchik was commissioned with the construction.
