To demonstrate their credentials in the cutting edge world of aerodynamics, Pininfarina transformed the Alfa Romeo chassis 00128 into the Superflow 1. It was displayed at the Turin Motor Show in April 1956, one year after the last Bertone BAT car (BAT 9).

The Superflow II was a further development of the Superflow I and was presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1956. The Superflow 2 was displayed in Paris along with the even lovelier Ferrari 410 Superfast 1. These cars placed Pinin Farina at the cutting edge of road car aerodynamics.

This one-off Alfa Romeo 1900C SS was presented at the 1955 Turin Motor Show by Gian Carlo Boano. It followed the similar Boano bodied 6C 3000 CM that was sold to Argentinian president Juan Peron in 1954. One of the most impressive features of the car is the two-piece rear window. Originally the car was finished in a two-tone paint-scheme with a yellow bottom half and a black roof but this was at some point changed to a single red.
