Bugatti Type 57 is a series of the former French automaker Bugatti. The Type 57 was the brand's last pre-war model and became its most successful. From 1934 to 1940, depending on the source, 630, 680, 710, 750 (including 41 Type 57 S and 4 Atlantic) or 830 vehicles of the Type 57 series were produced in three series. Regardless of the exact number, the Type 57 is the longest built model in the largest quantities and one of the most important of the brand. A 1938 Type 57 SC Atlantic has been the most expensive used car in the world for several years (as of 2013) with an auction price of an estimated 30-40 million US dollars.
