This 1929 Mercedes-Benz 710 Type SS Cabriolet C with right-hand drive was orderd for Major Sprigg in London by British Mercedes Ltd. at Daimler-Benz in Stuttgart on July 5, 1929. The cost was 44,000 RM. Major Sprigg receives the license plate GH4530 for his new sports car, which shines in opalescent light blue. After several changes of ownership and conversions, the Mercedes was restored to its original state. The today gorgeous looking, freshly restored 710 SS Cabriolet promptly received the second prize in class I-2 “Celebrating 125 Years of Mercedes-Benz - Classic” at the “Concours d'Élégance” 2011 in Pebble Beach (California).
