Many have heard of Joachim Küsters as a boat designer, the best Brazil has ever had! How to forget the legendary Carbras Mar speedboat with wooden cracked hull designed by him?

Well, what few know is that Küsters (of German origin) when he arrived in Brazil and lived here in Salvador, in the year 1932, besides designing his first speedboat, Miss Brasil, also designed the body of a car with futuristic lines that mounted on an Alfa Romeo chassis with mechanical 6 cylinders.

Speedboat designer Joachim Küsters also developed very bold car bodies in the 1930s, including this exotic Alfa Romeo made in Salvador, Bahia in 1932. Note the unusual steppe placement, the hood's aerodynamic profile, the windshields. mud, the wheels. The car resembles a speedboat, cutting the water.
