Visually, Prince Charles of Wales' car is no different from the other examples produced from 1965 to 1970. Prince Charles' 325 hp convertible version Volante became world famous in 2011 when his son Prince William chauffeured it at his wedding to Duchess Kate.
The Prince of Wales revealed to the British broadcaster BBC what also makes the vehicle so special: it does not run on normal fuel, but on "waste products: surplus English white wine and whey from cheese production", the Prince said. "You can take my word for that."
