Mercedes-Benz S Type 26/180 (Typ 680S) Sports Tourer Buhne or Gläser 1928
Limitation: 75 pieces
The S-Type 26/180 is among the greatest of all Mercedes-Benz touring cars and was the brainchild of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. Only 146 S-Types were produced between 1927 and 1928, a fraction of which survive today.
It is not entirely clear who created this beautiful body. Was it Buhne in Berlin or Gläser in Dresden? All photos of the original car show the Buhne emblem. The Gläser emblem was suddenly on the car after the final restoration. Shamed be he who thinks evil of it.
