The second largest market for Bugatti in the 1930s was England. James Young was better known for various Rolls-Royce bodies, but at least he made 12 bodies for Bugatti chassis. 57158 was built as a prototype by James Young for the London Motor Show in 1934. James Young Coachbuilder was a British coachbuilder founded in Bromley in 1863. In 1967 James Young ended his career.
