Delivered new to a Sicilian in 1950, this 6C 2500 SS was clothed by Pinin Farina with a very beautiful Coupe body. The coach-work's most striking features are the dual headlights. Well ahead of their time, these would only really catch on in the late 1950s. After a period in England, the Alfa Romeo eventually ended it up in the United States. It remained there until the mid-2000s, when it was acquired by a noted Italian collector of one-off coach-built sports cars. He had the car carefully restored and first showed it at the 2008 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
