Transkits – the trade name of Bernd Michael – is a German manufacturer of one-off pieces and small series (maximum 25 pieces). Transkits also offers conversions of existing model cars. The kits and ready-made models on offer are always based on existing industrially manufactured models, which are then modified and refined accordingly. This is exactly what classic coachbuilders did, and what tuners do today.
