Lagonda
Lagonda (founded in 1901) was an English car brand that became famous in the 1930s thanks to its successes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Lagonda remained independent until 1947. The insolvency administrator sold the designs and naming rights in 1947 to entrepreneur David Brown, who had recently acquired sports car manufacturer Aston Martin.
