This 500K, officially known as the “Autobahn-Kurierwagen”, was presented at the International Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition in Berlin in March 1934. This elegant sports car had a turbocharged eight-cylinder engine which, with the compressor switched on for a short time, produced a breathtaking 160 hp from 5018 cubic centimeters. The maximum speed was about 175 km / h. In the price list there was a somewhat vague talk of a 'special single version for particularly high speeds'. With an external length of 5170 mm, a width of 1180 and a height of 1600 millimeters, the Autobahn-Kurierwagen built on the long chassis was in the middle of the 500k series. In total, only six Autobahn-Kurierwagen were built.
