Rocco Motto was the coachbuilder of numerous famous cars, but he almost always worked incognito and for this reason never achieved the fame he deserved. Specialising in the use of aluminium, he built countless racing cars before and after the war that competed successfully in Europe and America.

In the 1950s, he built sports cars and Granturismo bodies, then devoted himself with equal fortune to the emerging world of caravans and motorhomes, of which he was a pioneer in Italy.
